Find the errors already published on your site
ProofWrite reads your sitemap, checks every claim in every article against live sources, and lists the articles with the most likely errors first: discontinued plans, outdated prices, wrong figures. Each finding links to its sentence on your page, with a suggested fix where a source backs one.

How it works
From your sitemap to a ranked list of fixes
Choose pages
Point it at your site
Enter your site or sitemap address and pick the pages, up to 200 per check, or paste addresses, Google Docs shared by link included.
Check
Every claim, against live sources
ProofWrite reads each article, finds its factual claims and checks them against the article's own links, the makers' own pages and the web.
Rank
Worst articles first
Articles are ranked by how many real errors their findings likely point to, so the first hour goes to the pages that need it.
Fix
Fix where you publish
Open each sentence on your page, copy the suggested fix where a source backs one, mark it fixed, or export everything to CSV.
What it finds
Claims, not page age
Content audits usually flag pages by age or traffic. ProofWrite reads the claims themselves, so a two-year-old article that is still right stays off the list, and last month's post with a changed price does not.
Likely wrong
A source contradicts the claim. In ProofWrite's tests on published articles, about three in four were real errors.
Source says otherwise
A source states something different, often a newer price or term, shown with the line of the source that differs.
Couldn't confirm, figures first
No source confirmed the claim. Figures come first, because most real errors are figures; many of the rest are true details nobody documents.
For agencies
Audit a client's site before you pitch
A list of a prospect's outdated prices and wrong figures, each with its source, opens the conversation better than any deck.
Share a read-only report
A link that opens without an account: findings, sources and fixes, nothing from your workspace.
Export to CSV
Every finding with its sentence, source, suggested fix and a link to the sentence, ready for a sheet or a ticket.
Run it from your tools
The ProofWrite API runs bulk checks and checks drafts with the same credits.
Bulk fact check
Fact-check many published articles at once. ProofWrite reads the pages in your sitemap, checks every claim against sources and lists the articles with the most likely errors first, such as outdated prices, terms and figures. Each finding links to its sentence on your page, with a suggested fix where a source backs one. Export the findings as CSV or share a read-only report.

How accurate is it?
Every finding shows the source passage behind it, so you can judge it before you change a sentence. In ProofWrite's tests on published articles, about three in four Likely wrong findings were real errors. Source says otherwise findings are often outdated prices or terms and are worth a look. Claims no source confirmed are listed apart, figures first: many are true details nobody documents.
What does a credit cover?
One credit checks one article of up to 3,000 words; a longer article uses two. Pages without an article and checks that fail use none. New workspaces get 3 credits free. Packs are 50 for $99, 200 for $349, 1,000 for $1,490, one-time purchases that never expire and work without a writing plan.
Does it change anything on my site?
No. ProofWrite reads your public pages and shows what it found. You fix what you choose in your own CMS; nothing is published or edited for you.
Is it a content audit?
It is the part of a content audit that checks the facts. It does not judge pages by age or traffic: it reads the claims themselves, so a two-year-old article that is still right stays off the list and last month's post with a changed price does not.
Can I check drafts before they are published?
Yes. Paste a Google Doc shared with "Anyone with the link" among the addresses, or send drafts through the ProofWrite API from your own tools.
Can I share the results with a client?
Share a read-only report link that opens without an account, or export every finding as a CSV for your team or your client's.
Where does my page text go?
The page text is sent to ProofWrite's AI providers to check it, and the claims are searched on the web, as in any ProofWrite fact check. The privacy policy names the providers.
